Jessica Smith works for Fleishman-Hillard International Communications and brings more than a decade of marketing and social media expertise to the firm and its clients. In 2008, while working as a consultant from home so she could be with her young son, Jessica began blogging about business, marketing, advertising, social media and achieving work/life balance as a virtual executive. Within four months of its launch, her blog, www.JessicaKnows.com, had a Google Rank of five achieving between 45,000 and 65,000 page views per month and now has over 1,000 subscribers and a Twitter following of nearly 22,000.
Because of her influence in the digital space – recently tapped as one of the Power Pack in Nielsen’s Power Mom 50 list – Jessica has been recruited to serve as a spokesperson for big brands including Wal-Mart (”ElevenMoms” campaign) Ford and EA Sports. Her specialties include creating buzz and communities for companies that target moms through new media.
A graduate of the University of Maryland at College Park, Jessica started her career at Sapient Corporation.
