My Meeting at Ford Headquarters, Presenting to the Ford Flex Team

Yesterday I flew to Detroit and back in one day.  Exhausting?  Yes.  Worth the exhaustion?  And how!

Scott Monty invited me out to present to the Ford Flex team a few weeks back.  And I am excited and proud to announce that I will be partnering with Ford over the next year to market the Ford Flex!

If you have read any of my earlier posts about the Ford Flex, you know that this is not the typical Ford vehicle.  It's edgy, it's different, it's creatively designed, and it's got attitude.  It also has a lot of class and screams luxury.  I had not even heard of the Flex {gasp!} until Scott Monty made the fateful introduction on my blog when I posted about looking for a new car.  But it was love at first sight and I haven't been the same since.

The thing about the Flex is that if you're a person who is immediately drawn in by it's design, you've only just scratched the surface.  I had the Flex to test drive for an entire week and I'm STILL learning more about all the perks it provides.

The Flex team, they know it's a different kind of car, the first of it's kind for Ford.  So because it's an unconventional vehicle for the Ford brand, they're approaching their marketing in an unconventional way too.  I am completely stoked about becoming a member of the Ford family of cars and unbelievably excited that the Flex will become a member of my family.

I'm going to share with you the presentation I gave to the Ford Flex team yesterday.  After presenting, we left with a lot of great ideas for an exciting year to come as I help Ford introduce the Flex to the public, especially other entrepreneurial, ambitious, and powerful moms who like to stand out from the crowd, just like the Flex.

I got teary the first time I watched it, and now I did again...ah--mazing. So freaking proud of you, and can't wait to see how you rock it. You've already made Ford look so cool, it will be a blast to see what you do next!

What a great opportunity for you!

We are a Ford family all the way. We buy vehicles made in the USA at union plants. We currently have an F150 and a Taurus wagon. We want to replace the wagon in the next year (hopefully).

If Ford needs more moms to test drive, let me get behind the wheel of this baby!
