Santa's Promised Me a Blog Makeover!

And by Santa, I mean my awesome and amazing husband. For Christmas this year, my dear hubs is getting my blog redesigned with matching logo (and a few extra related goodies if need be). I've had a lot of fun using paint.net and iStockphoto to take the DIY approach but now that my blog is growing, I think it's time to treat it to some professional love.
However, I have no idea where to start as far as who will do it for me or where to begin!
So, I decided to have a little fun with it and get some input from you, my readers, whom I blog for in the first place.

For the rest of the week I will be taking nominations for the blog designer for my blog's overhaul and logo. Please put your nominations in the comments section. But make note, I will only consider those designers that have a portfolio of work online or a website that I can review.
On Saturday, I will go over all the options and narrow the choices down between 4-5 options. I will be taking originality in design, cost, and overall impression of fit for my blog and brand all into consideration. I'll be posting the list of finalists and asking you to help me select the winner. (Please note that I reserve the right to final decision for obvious reasons. kthxbai)

My hubby hired Shauna to do my blog this summer. I loved her. She is more costly on Wordpress. But that's the price you pay.
