Ahhhhhh! {smack on the head} So that's the difference. What about the Networked Blogs? Mine is, but I'm not sure about the benefits since I'd have to upgrade to Pro ($5 a month) to broadcast to them. I'm considering it because the 50 followers I have on Facebook are not following directly on my blog.
Great Post Simon! Very informative. Was wondering how one decides whether they want to have a GROUP or FAN page...
Networked Blogs is an application that helps you build a fan base on Facebook for your blog so it has a very focused use. I use it for my blog, not the pro-version as it helps promote the blog. I often get new "Fans" from it that are not part of my Facebook network simply because with 100 fans my blog shows up in the social media category near the top. If you want to promote your blog without the cost you can use the standard version and then use the "Post A Link" which will put your latest post on your profile page and that of all of your network.
Glad you liked it :-)
I love Facebook! It has helped me connect,re-connect, & stay connected with family & friends near and far!
