Day 10 of 15 Days of Work/Life Balance: Stop & Think

If you're looking for more work/life balance like I am, you probably have weeks where you look back and wonder where all the time went.

Am I right?

For me, sometimes I don't slow down because my mind doesn't slow down. But today, I took some time to stop. And think.

Today's post is going to be short.  I was inspired today after listening to Yehuda Berg's "Yehuda & Friends" radio show.  Ashton Kutcher was the guest and at about the half hour mark, Yehuda says, "Let's start talking about Cambodia.".

Ashton then offered some pretty powerful statistics about child sex slavery in Cambodia and around the world.  Every minute.  Every single minute a child is sold into slavery.  As I was listening to him talk about how child sex slaves are kept at hotels near airports to provide easy access to those who want to buy...I knew I had to do something.

Then he mentioned a few websites, and one in particular stood out.  It's called Love146.org.  I didn't know why it was named that.

Until I watched this video.

I encourage you to watch it too and join me as I sign up to be an abolitionist of child sex slavery.

It's not just happening in Cambodia, it's happening here.  In America.  In our OWN BACKYARDS.

Please.  Watch it.  Then stop.  And think.

So very cool. Notice what you "connect" to when you actually do slow down? Something that's important to you...something you value...something you could get pretty frickin' fired up about...

Lovely.
