Uppercase Living Helped Me Fake Upscale Decorating

Do you think Jannifers trying to tell me something about my Twitter use? Do you think Jannifer

Let me put it to you this way. I haven't gotten to the point in my life where I can hire a professional decorator. I'm pretty proud of what I've done with my house so far - DIY-style. We've got a mix of new furniture (well, new since we were married 5 years ago) and family heirloom pieces. I think I've done a pretty good job of choosing paint colors and coordinating it with the furniture and upholstery. I even transformed our dining room into an "Imagination Room" complete with chalkboard/magnetic walls and my son's artwork prominently displayed. This is the room where we keep our son's toys and there is a dining room table - we just use it for crafts and projects.

However, my home has been missing some ummmphhh in the decor department. Besides the barn star made from recycled, reclaimed metal, there isn't anything that pops or makes our home unique.

But Jannifer Stoddard, an independent consultant for Uppercase Living, sent me some amazing wall decor to try.  And while I was afraid I'd botch things up in the application, it turned out it was amazingly easy!  These pictures I've posted of where I applied the Uppercase Living graphics to my walls in my home.

I put this above the flat panel tv, lest we forget... :) I put this above the flat panel tv, lest we forget... :)
