Gal to Gal Walk for Stage IV Breast Cancer Patients & Their Families: Join Team Jessica Knows!

As you probably know, October is National Breast Cancer month and before long we'll watch everything from our accessories to brands we love in the grocery stores turn pink.

This year, our event is in honor of our brave past Gal to Gal Foundation President, Dorit Shapiro, whom you may recall lost her battle at the young age of 38 on October 12th of last year. It was only days prior that she was speaking out on behalf of the Foundation and its importance.

No matter how busy life gets I never take for granted my best gal friends.  And this year I'm honoring those friends along with all of our sisters, mothers, aunts, grandmothers, teachers...women who mean so much to us, by putting my influence online behind the Gal to Gal Foundation and it's my hope that you'll join me!  Think about the tremendous difference we can make together!  The Gal to Gal Foundation is one of the few international non-profits who dedicated 100% of their resources to Stage IV breast cancer patients and their families.    For those of you who are not familiar – Stage IV is the most critical stage of this deadly disease and at this time is considered incurable.

The Gal To Gal Foundation partners with other organizations to help grant wishes and supply support resources for those in this difficult stage of their lives.   It is their goal to raise $250,000 during the month of October and with our help they can do it!

Beginning October 1 – 31st – I am asking you to join us on a “virtual walk” across America to raise funds and awareness for patients in Stage IV.  Our efforts will help grant over 100 wishes this holiday season.   Everything from trips for the family, off-setting medical expenses, special beds, and even video cameras!   It only takes a few minutes to join and it is super fun!

Here is how it works:

  1. Go to www.galtogalwalk.org

  2. Click on JOIN NOW

  3. Design your virtual Gal or GUY (or if you just want to donate – click “choose an angel”)

  4. Register your Gal or Guy for $5 and JOIN the walk!

  5. Under TEAM in your registration put TEAM:  Jessica Knows

THE NAMES OF THOSE WHO ARE PART OF THE TOP TWO FUNDRAISING TEAMS WILL BE ENTERED INTO A DRAWING TO WIN ACCOMMODATIONS FOR 2 TO THEIR CHOICE OF PUERTO VALLARTA OR CABO SAN LUCAS FOR ONE WEEK!

Let's do this, shall we?!

Every day you can go on line and see yourself walking in a new city.  You can choose to walk with 8 of your “teammates” or random walkers (including many celebrities!)

Will you help me make this...wait for it...legendary?

Then design your gal or guy and help spread the word by Tweeting, Facebooking, shouting it from the rooftops!

Need an example?
